Chat with agents
Talk to your workspace's agents directly in the app, for questions, drafts and work you hand over.
Your workspace's live agents appear as round photos in the app's left rail. Click one to open a conversation with it.
- New conversation starts fresh; earlier ones are listed with search, and you can rename or delete your own.
- Each conversation remembers its last turns, so you can follow up naturally.
- Agents answer from their knowledge and act through their allowed tools. Anything risky goes to Approvals.
- For long jobs, choose Run in background to make it a task.
Conversations are private: other members can't open yours. They're encrypted, and you need the agents.use permission for the agent's project.
Preview or Production
A new conversation can talk to the Production version, or to a Preview of the current draft. Preview is for testing and needs the agent-testing permission. See Testing agents.
