How it sounds

IrisExample conversation

I applied for the designer role. Did you get my CV?

Yes: your application for Product Designer arrived on 9 Oct and is with the hiring team. The next step is a first interview; the recruiter will contact you within a week. I can't say how you were assessed: people make those decisions.

What it does

  • Explains your open roles, requirements, application steps and hiring stages.
  • Receives applications through your applicant-tracking system and confirms only verified submissions.
  • Prepares neutral, inclusive interview questions and notes for your recruiters.
  • Coordinates interviews and reschedules, including accessibility requests.
  • Handles candidate privacy requests and retention.
  • Reports funnel numbers without inferring anyone's characteristics.

What it never does

  • Shortlist, rank, reject or hire anyone, or make salary offers.
  • Infer protected characteristics, personality or emotions, or scrape social profiles.
  • Reuse a candidate's data for other roles without a legal basis.
  • Email a candidate without an approved message.
