Integrations
Connect a tool once, and every chatbot, agent and workflow in your company can use it, as far as you allow.
Integrations belong to the whole company and live in Integrations (or Connections). Once connected, an integration's actions become tools. For example, Google Calendar adds Get busy times, Suggest times and Book a meeting.

Connecting
- Open Integrations, find the tool (search or categories) and click Connect.
- Google, Microsoft, Salesforce: sign in through their window and allow access. Others: enter a key or address; ORYVOX checks it before saving. Required fields are marked; optional ones say optional.
- The integration's page shows its tools, recent runs, connection health and the permissions really granted. Change settings, such as working hours, without signing in again.
Every integration's guide tells you which permissions to give its key, and no more.
When a tool runs
You choose for each tool:
| Setting | What happens |
|---|---|
| Runs automatically | The AI does it straight away (e.g. looks for free times). |
| Visitor confirms | The visitor clicks Confirm in the chat (e.g. a booking). |
| Team approves | It waits until your team approves it in Approvals. |
| Never | The tool is off. |
By default, reading runs automatically, writing asks for confirmation and deleting needs your team's approval.
The chat gets less than your agents
An integration is always connected as a whole, but the website chat talks to strangers, so it gets only part of the actions. Next to each tool you'll see Chat and agents or Agents only: the chat never gets an Agents only tool, and if it tried, the system refuses.
| Integration | Chat | Agents and automations |
|---|---|---|
| Gmail, Outlook | Sends a confirmation to the visitor, a note to the team | + searches and reads email |
| Slack | Sends lead notifications | + searches messages |
| Google Docs, Slides, Sheets | Reads | + creates documents and slides, adds rows |
| Jira, GitHub, GitLab | Reads | + creates issues and comments |
| Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, Confluence | Reads | Reads |
| Calendars | Offers times, books, cancels | Same |
| CRM, help desks | Finds and creates records, leads, tickets | Same |
Each chatbot's Tools page shows what its chat uses: switch integration tools on or off for that chatbot and choose when they run.
Disconnecting
Disconnecting removes the integration's tools; Google access is also revoked in your Google account. Records already created in your tools stay there. Before you disconnect, ORYVOX shows what depends on the connection.
