Bookings
The services, staff, locations, opening hours and rules your booking agents use to find free times and book.
Bookings is where you describe your business for Zoe and Nora: what can be booked, by whom, where and when. The agents read it to find free times and make bookings through your booking provider.
Booking provider
Choose the connection where availability is read and bookings are made, e.g. Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar. The card shows what each provider supports. Ready means the setup validates and the provider answers; credentials alone never make it ready.
Services
What customers can book. For each service: duration, buffers before and after, group size, lead time, free cancellation period, a late cancellation fee, which locations offer it, and what each booking needs (e.g. one stylist with the skill "colour"). Prices and fees are shown to customers as information only: ORYVOX never charges for a booking.
Staff and resources
Who or what a booking uses: people, rooms, equipment. Public display names only. Set where each works, how many bookings at once, and skills. Choose whether customers see staff names.
Locations and opening hours
Each location has its own public address, time zone, weekly hours, holidays and closures. An end before the start runs past midnight, e.g. 22:00 – 02:00.
Booking rules
Defaults for every service: time zone, start times every N minutes, lead time, how far ahead people can book, free cancellation and rescheduling periods, currency and the waitlist. A service can set its own.
Preview availability
See the next 14 days exactly as the booking agent would: provider busy times, hours, holidays, closures, buffers and lead time, for a chosen group size. Preview your unsaved changes before you save. Times shown are live, not reserved: a time can be taken until the provider confirms a booking.
Bookings list
Every booking with its reference, service, location, local time and history. It's read only: bookings are made, moved and cancelled by your booking agent through the provider. Customer contact details aren't stored here.
Changing the setup needs the bookings.manage permission; anyone with bookings.read can view it.
